We are asked routinely about the size, make-up and/or composition of the Tank Connection Affiliate Group. Basically, TCAG is comprised of 6 facilities in the U.S. and over 300,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space dedicated to the design, manufacturing and field installation of storage tanks and integrated storage systems.
Tank Connection is located in Parsons, KS (central U.S. location) and ships storage products and services worldwide. Boss Tank is the shop-welded and SIT tank line of Tank Connection, located in Oswego, KS.
ATEC Steel is a separate field-welded tank company located in Baxter Springs, KS (central U.S. location). Tarsco is an ATEC subsidiary which also specializes in field-welded storage tanks and field construction services. Tarsco is located in Downey, CA.
Employee numbers adjust up and down, but typically range ~400 total employees. Tank Connection is the largest at ~200 employees, ATEC Steel at ~125 employees and Tarsco at ~75 employees.

In dry bulk storage applications, Tank Connection is the #1 supplier of bolted RTP storage tanks and integrated storage systems across North America. In liquid applications, our bolted RTP construction and LIQ Fusion coating system continues to gain significant market share against glass coated tanks. On the international front, sales for bolted RTP construction continues to grow at an unprecedented level, more than doubling last year’s level. In custom designed shop-welded tanks, our quality is recognized as second to none in the industry, but we are limited by our shop-weld production facilities. In effect, we can’t produce enough shop-welded tanks to satisfy market demand. Currently, we are taking the necessary steps to increase shop-weld tank production. In field-weld tank production we maintain excess capacity with three facilities and vast capabilities of over a hundred different storage containment products and field services offered.
